BAGGES SPP-2

BAGGES SPP-2 is a laminated bakelite sheet based on phenolic impregnated paper. It is brown and glossy on both sides, and has improved mechanical properties and electrical breakdown resistance. This makes it ideal for use as front panels, rail supports, plate enclosures, as well as partition and mounting plates. Like all other bakelite from BAGGES, SPP-2 can be both machined and sawn. BAGGES SPP-2 complies with EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II) and meets the standards NEMA L1-1 XX, DIN 7735 Hp2061 and EN 60893 PF CP 203.

Thermally, BAGGES SPP-2 has a thermal endurance index of 120°C (IEC 60216) for thicknesses of at least 3.0 mm. It is the best mechanical grade of paper phenolic, with electrical properties sufficient for insulation in low voltage structures. It is used as a structural material in electrical appliances, busbar supports, separators, protective materials, and more.
