BAGGES WACP

BAGGES WACP are cotton bakelite insulation discs manufactured from BAGGES SCP-1 sheets, and are an economical alternative for electrically insulated connections. BAGGES WACP is mainly used as electrical insulation / galvanic separation.

BAGGES SCP-1 from which the insulation discs are made is a premium bakelite material consisting of sheets made of cotton fabric impregnated with phenolic resin. This gives the material impressive mechanical strength and outstanding resistance to impacts and shocks.

BAGGES WACP meets stringent requirements and standards, including NEMA LI 1 X, IEC 60893 PF CC 201, DIN 7735 Hgw 2082, BS 2572 F2 and RoHS II 2011/65/EU. With a density of 1.35 g/cm³, a flexural strength of 100 MPa, a tensile strength of 80 MPa and a compressive strength of 300 MPa, this material delivers reliable performance under demanding conditions. The electrical breakdown strength is 5 kV/25mm, and the comparative tracking index is 150 CTI, with a classification temperature of 120°C.
