BAGGES TCP

BAGGES TCP is a Bakelite tube laminate consisting of cotton fabric impregnated with phenolic resin. This material, which has a characteristic brown colour, is distinguished by its excellent electrical properties in normal humid environments. The tubes are also highly impact-resistant and have a durable surface that can withstand high loads, making them ideal for demanding industrial applications.

BAGGES TCP is particularly well suited for electrical insulation in various industrial contexts. It can be used for mechanical and electrical adaptations in low-voltage structures, ball bearing frames, and guide tubes for hydraulic cylinders. The material meets the requirements of several international standards, including NEMA LI-1 L, EN 61212 PF CC 21, DIN 7735 Hgw 2086, and RoHS II 2011/65/EU.

With a flexural strength at room temperature of 100 MPa, an axial compressive strength of 170 MPa, and a radial oil breakdown voltage of 3.00 kV/mm, BAGGES TCP offers reliable performance under demanding conditions. The classification temperature is class E, which corresponds to 120°C, and the material has a density of 1.30 g/cm³.

Applications
  • Mechanical and electical adaptations in low voltage constructions
  • Frames for ball bearings
  • Guide pipes for hydraulic cylinders
