This welding protective fabric was developed for thermal protection at high temperatures -specially as welding protection against splashes of molten metal. The fabric has a special finish that provides high temperature resistance to exposure to sparks and molten metal splashes. This strong fabric is popularly called "welding stop". It is also treated with a silicone-based plasticizer that allows the woven threads to slide over each other with a much greater degree of flexibility. This means that very little dust is released when using this fabric.
