KLINGER Maxiprofile Composite gasket

KLINGER Maxiprofile composite gasket combines a metal core with a softer material against the flange. The metal core is machined on both sides/contact-surfaces to make it concentricly serrated which, together with a softer material against the flange, ensures a strong seal even at lower tightening torques. Klinger Maxiprofile kammprofile is a gasket that takes brings the benefits of softer gasket materials as well as the trusted seal and safety associated with metal gaskets.

Expanded graphite is the most commonly used sealing material, but it is possible to also use PTFE for more aggressive media or Mica in solutions for high-temperature applications. Often used in heat exchangers and vessel applications.

The metal core is available in a number of different metals and the gaskets are available in both DIN and ANSI standards, as well as other dimensions on request.
