KLINGERgraphite laminate SLS-2

KLINGER SLS-2 is a graphite gasket that has stable features at high temperatures. The gasket is made of expanded layers of over 98% pure graphite, which are stuck to a 0.05 mm thick steel foil insert (1.4401). The steel insert is coated with an adhesive that holds the graphite in place. In addition, graphite will adjust to  uneven flanges, function well at low bolt loads and the stainless steel foil insert increase the stabillity of the gasket, which makes the gasket even easier to handle.

Graphite gasket SLS-2 can for example be used in connection with steam and other applications with higher temperatures. Temperature range is -200°C to +450°C and for more information about pressure and temperature, see the P-T digram in the datasheet.

The gasket can for example be used within the process industry, chemical industry, energy production, transport and pulp and paper production.
