KLINGER QUANTUM

KLINGER Quantum is a high quality gasket for especially developed to maintain highest flexibility at high temperatures. KLINGER has developed a uniqe production method that makes it possible to use quality fibre, glass fibre and filler HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) as a binder. HNBR has very good chemical resistance and improved temperature resistance. Temperature are for the gasket is -200°C to 400°C and for more information regarding how the pressure and temperature affects the gasket, see the P-T diagram  in the datasheet.

Usually, compressed fiber gaskets are limited to temperatures for continuous operation. They become brittle and can be quickly damaged due to the fluctuations in a system with varying temperatures and pressures. KLINGER Quantum is still flexible even after prolonged use at 350 ° C

This gasket has a wider area of use than what is traditionally used for this type of material. KLINGER QUANTUM can for example be used in connection with oils, water, steam, gas, hydrocarbons, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, lubricants, coolants and against moderate organic and inorganic acids.

The gasket can be used within the process industry, chemical industry, energy production, infrastructure, pulp and paper production, marine applications and in connection with pharma, food and beverage production.
