BAGGES WAMS

BAGGES WAMS are insulation washers that are manufactured from BAGGES SMS (mica silicone sheets). The insulation washers therefore have the same properties as the sheets, and have a classification temperature of 500°C continuous and 700°C short-term.

BAGGES WAMS are often used as electrical or galvanic separation where there are high temperatures.

We can deliver many washers as standard dimensions from us. Other dimensions can be produced in our workshop according to the desired dimensions.

BAGGES WAMS meet the requirements of several technical standards, including UL94 VO, BS 476 part 1, NBN 21-203 A1, and NFF 16 101 u. MO. U. FO. With a specific weight of 2.15 g/cm³, bending strength of 230 MPa, tensile strength of 150 MPa, and compressive strength of 400 MPa (250 MPa at 200°C), these insulation discs are both robust and reliable. The electrical breakdown strength is over 75 kV/25 mm and the comparative tracking index is 500 CTI, ensuring high performance under demanding conditions.

BAGGES WAMS also complies with EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II).
