BAGGES PGF-1-LEX
Sealing ropes are produced from a knitted texturised glass yarn core which is surrounded with a braid also produced from texturised glass yarns.

Applications

BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX
Is used as thermal insulation for static sealing applications in dry environments where an effective seal between smooth surfaces is required. Typical applications include seals for hatches and doors for industrial boilers, furnaces, ovens and solid fuel stoves etc.

BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX
Ropes exhibit excellent flexibility making them suitable for application around small radii to achieve the desired fit for components manufactured to precise engineering tolerances.

BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX
Ropes are divided into three specific categories with regards to the ease by which they can be compressed.
The categories are:

BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX H (hard),
BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX M (medium) and
BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX S (soft).

Selection of the necessary grade of BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX (H, M or S) is an important factor to achieve the optimum efficiency with regards to minimizing thermal leakage for a particular application.

BAGGES-PGF-1-LEX
Can be used in certain applications at elevated temperatures up to 600°C.
